About the Doctor
Dr. Kuda Maloney, MD,MPhil,FAAD
Dr. Kuda Maloney is a Harvard-trained, double-board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She completed her Bachelor’s in Chemistry, focusing on Biochemistry, at Williams College, Massachusetts, and went on to pursue medical studies at Yale School of Medicine, Connecticut. Dr. Maloney also holds an MPhil in Virology from the University of Cambridge, UK. Her specialized training in dermatology was conducted at the Harvard Dermatology Residency Program, Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship in Dermatopathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas. With extensive experience as a faculty member at MD Anderson Cancer Center, UT McGovern Dermatology Department, and the Harris Health medical system, she has made significant contributions to dermatology education and patient care.


Currently, as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UT McGovern Medical School, she continues to influence future dermatologists and advocates for patient education and access to specialized dermatologic care. Her work in skin cancer diagnosis and teledermatology has been published in leading dermatology journals, and she played a pivotal role in developing telemedicine services at MD Anderson. Dr. Maloney is committed to empowering patients with knowledge for optimal skin health, offering innovative and personalized treatment plans. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys writing fiction, painting, and culinary arts.
